Mission Statement

Caldwell & Ward Casting Co.

Caldwell & Ward’s roots go back to 1850 when, as the Onondaga Brass Co., we were the “founding father” of the foundry industry in Upstate New York. In 1896, we established ourselves as the Caldwell & Ward Brass Co. and incorporated in 1906 after consolidating with several of our smaller competitors.

In later years, the corporation was purchased by the Lampreda family who continue to operate it today.  After four generations Caldwell & Ward has extended its expertise beyond brass into aluminum, bronze and virtually all non-ferrous special alloys. We evolved most recently in 2004 into the Caldwell & Ward Casting Co., Inc.
